Comic book fans in the 90s were subjected to a lot of terrible variants (what was the point of the Amazing Spider-Man $400 die-cut cover?), but it is hard to complain about the beautiful glass variant for FALLEN WORLD #1.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Valiant Entertainment comic features cover art by Doug Braithwaite. \u00a0It centers on lead character Rai set against a red mirrored background, all on tempered glass.<\/span><\/p>\n

Valiant Director of Design and Production, Travis Escarfullery, said of the cover, \u201cDoug created this great dynamic image of Rai so I wanted to make it pop, making it look like the character was emerging from the glass. \u00a0The red mirror effect in the background also helps to achieve the effect. A lot of the credit also has to go to our printer, who help make our crazy ideas become reality!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The first issue of the five-issue series arrives May 1st. \u00a0Ask your favorite comic shop to add the Glass Variant to your bin.<\/span><\/p>\n
