What happens to Bruce Banner after going savage in Spider-Man: Brand New Day? In one of the brand new post-credits scenes for the Avengers: Endgame Encore re-release, we find out that Banner has locked himself inside a military bunker two miles underground to work on a gamma suppression serum. But he is interrupted by none other than Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom, who leaves behind glowing green magic runes after spiriting the Hulk away!
In this clip from Super Hero Speak #710, Dave and Don Daniels break down what this abduction means for Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars. Did Doom specifically call him “Mr. Banner” to show dominance? Is Bruce completely oblivious to an ongoing multiverse incursion because he’s buried underground? Plus, we dive into the theories that the Hulk’s new beard means we are getting the evil Maestro variant on Battleworld, or if the green runes tie into the supernatural Immortal Hulk comic run and Doom’s mastery over hell!
