Get ready for some serious mutant madness on Super Hero Speak! Dave and Don are breaking down X-Men news, rumors, and jaw-dropping comic revelations.
We kick things off with a deep dive into the comics: Did Peter Parker actually invent the mutant inhibitor in Spider-Man: Brand New Day? We look at the implications this has for the webslinger and the mutant community.
Then, we shift focus to the MCU! Rumors are heavily pointing toward Marvel’s X-Men reboot featuring the classic “Original 5” roster—Cyclops, Jean Grey, Beast, Angel, and Iceman. With Odessa A’Zion playing coy about taking on the role of Rogue as a student at Xavier’s School, and Matt Wood’s name constantly coming up as the next Wolverine, the mutant cinematic universe is rapidly taking shape. We’ll discuss how these casting pieces fit together, whether this is the right direction for Marvel Studios, and if Don will ever get to see his all-time favorite, Colossus, join the MCU team!
To top it all off, we’re giving our full breakdown and spoiler review of the epic X-Men ’97 Season 2 Finale.
