Image announces the return of LAZARUS

No one should be surprised a comic named Lazarus is returning.

Image Comics announced The Eisner Award-winning team of Greg Rucka (Black Magick, Gotham Central, that issue of Wolverine where Logan and Nightcrawler were served by a sexy bartender with squid arms) and Michael Lark (Daredevil, Gotham Central, an adaptation of Dark Tower that didn’t waste Idris Elba) will release LAZARUS: RISEN #1.

Issue #1 of the new quarterly is available March 13th and follows the Carlyle Family two years after suffering a betrayal in battle. With the Conclave War encroaching on every side, sisters Forever and Johanna Carlyle go on the attack in hopes of ensuring their family’s survival.

Per series writer & co-creator Rucka, “Forever’s journey has entered a new phase and we wanted the title to reflect not just that, but all things LAZARUS present and future. We’re excited to finally get to share this next chapter!”

LAZARUS will be available via digital platforms such as the official Image Comics iOS app, Amazon Kindle, Apple Books, comiXology, and Google Play. Fans can subscribe to receive the series delivered by mail within the domestic U.S. on Image Direct. Or ask your favorite comic shop to include it in your bin!
