Karl Kesel & Tom Grummett Return to SECTION ZERO

After almost nineteen years,  writer Karl Kesel (SUPERBOY, HARLEY QUINN) and artist Tom Grummett (SUPERBOY, X-MEN FOREVER) return to their acclaimed series SECTION ZERO.  The science-fiction adventure will launch from Image/Shadowline Comics in April, 2019.

The series, described as “Jack Kirby does The X-Files,” kicks off with Part One: “Ground Zero” and follows a covert organization working to unlocks mysteries surrounding UFOs, monsters and maybe even a lost civilization.  To add excitement, SECTION ZERO features alternate covers by Walt Simonson, George Perez, Adam Hughes and more.

Per writer/inker Karl Kesel, “Ever since 2000, Tom and I have constantly tried to bring Section Zero back. Almost two decades later, we finally found a way to finish what we’d begun. The cherry on top is seeing the book return to where it all started—Image Comics.”

Grummett, who doesn’t get nearly enough love for his brilliant work on ROBIN, added, “SECTION ZERO has excited me since day one. It’s exciting to see it return home to Image Comics, where it all began. Hang on to something! It’s going to be a wild ride!
