Greg Horn Gives us Some Van Art

In a surprise twist Marvel released an image of a new variant cover by the Gregarious Greg Horn (Stan Lee’s nickname for him) for their new crossover event War of Realms #1. This feels a great move for the artist who got his start doing airbrush art. Definitely bound to become a favorite of any comic book fans that grew up in the time of van art (the 80s).

Though this cover is getting a lot of press, the artist was a little upset that all the news outlets missed the obvious homage to Michelangelo’s Creation of Adam from the ceiling of the Sistine chapel. Take a look at the artwork below and let us know what you think in the comments.
