As part of Valiant Comics BREAKTHROUGH event, the cover of issue #1 of the new mini-series FALLEN WORLD has been released.  And it is pretty darn cool. The artwork by Jonboy Meyers (TEEN TITANS: REBIRTH) displays series star Rai, a cyborg samurai struggling to find his morality in the year 4002.

Written by Dan Abnett (AQUAMAN) with art by Adam Pollina (X-FORCE), the five-issue series is one of the four brand-new titles included in Variant’s BREAKTHROUGH lineup, all jumping on points for new readers.

FALLEN WORLD #1 featuring nanite-filled supersoldiers, animal-human hybrid mutants and dinosaurs(!) arrives May 1.  Ask your favorite comic book shop to add it to your bin.
